ALFEX: Lucendro Automatic Chronograph
Posted by Joe Vangieri on 29th May 2008
Water-resistant 50m The Lucendro automatic chronograph, the latest addition to Alfex’s new collection of Bernhard Russi mechanical timepieces, has a strong character and a design signed by Georg Plum. What makes it such an exceptional timekeeper are its balanced lines, its movement and its sumptuous decoration. The Valjoux movement has blued screws, a circular-grained balance-cock, and a rotor and bridges decorated with a Côtes de Genève pattern. A watch that will delight any lover of stunning workmanship.
Badus and Lucendro
With every mountain around my hometown I share a special story . That’s why every watch carries the name of a mountain and has my signature on the back, explains Russi. The two watch series are called Badus and Lucendro . The Piz Badus (2928m) and the Pizzo Lucendro (2963m) rise high above Andermatt and the Urserental and are situated in the midst of the breathtaking alpine countryside of the three passes Gotthard, Furka and Oberalp. Every watch comes with a small map of the respective mountain , hiking tips and other useful information.
