Reine De Naples Cammea - Breguet
Posted by Dennis Ramillo on 6th August 2008
Breguet watchmakers have clearly outdone themselves with this beautiful watch. Dubbed as the Reine De Naples Cammea wristwatch, it features a dial with a miniature hand-sculpted design that looks natural and expertly done. As if the fine craftsmanship poured into the construction of the mechanical parts is not alone, Breguet added a thing of beauty as its face.
This wonderful timepiece has a self-winding movement with 40-hours of power reserve. The bezel is set with 40 diamonds, approximately 2.42 carats, and the crown is set with a briolette diamond. The cameo is carved out of a natural seashell and the rotor is pure 18-carat gold.
The appeal of this wristwatch is endless. It combines the alluring intricacies of mechanical watch making with the natural beauty of nature, captured in its dial. It is an item of luxury that is beyond the reach of many but it can provide a wrist-bound crowning glory to those who can afford it. Elegance and beauty are represented quite clearly in the Reine De Naples Cammea, a Breguet creation.
