Power reserve The Invention Piece 1 pays tribute to the Double Tourbillon 30°, the first Fundamental Invention by Robert Greubel & Stephen Forsey and the fruit of 4 years’ patient research. In a restructuring of volume and surface, the emblematic double cage is placed at the centre of an innovative display: two triangular indicators – red for the hours, blue for the minutes – show the passing of time on one half of two of the concentric rings on the movement. This sumptuous timepiece, a veritable sculpture on the wrist that comes in 3 unique series (5N red gold, white gold and platinum), has another surprise in store on the back: the story of the Invention engraved in relief on a gold plate.
