Jean d’Eve : “Luna”
Posted by Joe Vangieri on 20th June 2008
The intrinsic spirit of traditional Swiss watch making only shows after centuries of evolution, and consists of Horological Savoir Faire + Artistic Inspiration + Functional Complication. Since it’s founding in 1888 in La Chaux-de-Fonds – the heart of the Swiss watchmaking industry, Jean d’Eve always made efforts to combine its unique understanding and creativity in every timepiece it made, thus expressing great homage to the art of time keeping.
The latest achievement by Jean d’Eve is the new “Luna” collection. The new Luna uses a round-shaped case, dials in black, white or chocolate brown and is equipped with an automatic movement featuring a 40-hour power reserve. A 24-hour counter is located at the 12 o’clock position. With the added red zone and enhanced design of both the second time zone and power reserve indicators, the new version will be highly appreciated by frequent travelers, not only for its useful functions but also for the eye-catching, outstanding, and sporty yet classic design.
The watch case is made of polished high grade stainless steel and fitted with a see-through screw
case back, a stainless steel bracelet or alligator strap with butterfly buckle, a sapphire crystal and is
equipped with a modified ETA 2892A2 automatic movement featuring an exclusive functional
module.
