Parmigiani Fleurier Bugatti 370 Type

Seen on a close-up photo without its strap, this watch can very well be a sports car or at least an automobile built for speed. The Parmigiani Fleurier Bugatti 370 Type is a manufacturing wonder, a uniquely welcome change to traditional design concepts. It’s miniature architecture at its best, a work of art in wristwatch making different from the rest yet incorporating the usual principles.
The case is 18carats gold divided into 8 sections. Movements in each section can be viewed through 6 sapphire crystals. The movement wheels were designed with real car rims in mind, and like automobiles, it also features shock absorbers to absorb vibrations that might affect this watch’s operation within its unique body.
The Parmigiani Fleurier Bugatti 370 Type is for people who likes a little variety when it comes to their wristwatches and wouldn’t mind paying its high, but basically fair, cost. Fair because the patience, creativity, and resourcefulness involved in making this watch is well beyond what ordinary people can muster. It takes a genius to build one, and genius minds don’t come cheap.
