Each time there is a new James Bond movie, a new limited watch would be launched. People were excited to view the 007 watch collection which Omega presented in time for the showing of the blockbuster Quantum of Solace, the latest 007 franchise.

Two types of Omega Seamaster were released to the public. One was the 007 Limited Edition Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m which was targeted mainly for the 007 watch collectors. This is the one with the 007 logo on the dial and the sapphire crystal lens used here was engraved inside with the Quantum of Solace markings. Only 5,007 units were created and by now they are already sold out.

The other one is the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean, Model No. 2201.50.00. This is the exact watch Daniel Craig used in the movie itself with a black dial, black bezel and luminous hands/hour markers. It is a stainless steel 2500 self-winding chronometer water resistant from 600m to 2000m with co-axial escapement movement almost quite similar to the Omega Seamaster watch he wore in Casino Royale, only this one is around 3 mm slimmer in diameter.
